The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for… Dickson County in Middle Tennessee… Southeastern Houston County in Middle Tennessee… Cheatham County in Middle Tennessee… Northeastern Humphreys County in Middle Tennessee…

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 939 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southeast of McEwen, or 10 miles southwest of Dickson, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include… Dickson, Ashland City, White Bluff, Kingston Springs, Pegram, McEwen, Burns, Charlotte, Vanleer, Slayden, and Cheatham Dam.

This includes the following highways… Interstate 40 between mile markers 159 and 160, between mile markers 164 and 176, and between mile markers 186 and 189. Interstate 24 near mile marker 31.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Dickson County until 10:45 PM CDT tonight. The National Weather Service reports that at 9:39 PM, a severe thunderstorm was located near the region, accompanied by high winds and heavy rainfall.

As of 10:00 PM in Dickson County, the weather conditions include moderate rain with a temperature of 65.1°F and wind speeds reaching 12.4 mph. Rain accumulation has been measured at 0.06 inches for the hour.

Earlier today, the area saw a temperature high of 74.7°F and a low of 53.2°F. Winds peaked at 23.5 mph amidst heavy rainfall, with a total precipitation of 0.67 inches throughout the day, and a 92% chance of precipitation was noted.
