Elizabeth Iona McCord Warren, age 87 of Bon Aqua, passed from this life on April 26, 2025, in her home.
She was born on September 5, 1937, in Hickman County, to the late James “Jim” McCord and Lizzie Luckett McCord.
She had worked for St. Thomas Hospital as a transporter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son: Travis Warren; a daughter: Paula Diane Delaney; a son-in-law: Stacey Jenkins; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughters: Robyn Warren and Tonya Jenkins, both of Bon Aqua; son-in-law: Mark Delaney; brother: Jay McCord of Utah; her grandchildren: Mackenzie Gill (Tyler), Steven Delaney, Johnathon Jenkins (Brandi) and Presley Jones; as well as one great-grandchild: Levi Jenkins.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will take place on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12 noon until the time of service.
