Our beautiful mother, sister, and friend Carmen “Yvonne” Foley, who was loved by many far and wide, left this earth to enter her Heavenly forever home on June 2nd, 2025. We are saddened yet happy that she no longer has to fight to stay healthy. Her job here was done, and she had done it well. She touched many lives. She had a great green thumb, which showed through the beauty of the plants that she grew around her homes over the years. Yvonne had a passion for shopping, doing so online the last few years. Some have said maybe there will be stores and Amazon in Heaven so she can shop on.
Yvonne was the oldest child of seven to Basil and Gertrude Beckstead. Born on February 10th, 1945 , in Watertown New York. Yvonne is survived by her siblings Sharon (Chuck) Lane, Deloris Flitcroft, Brenda Whitney, Vernon (Laurie) Beckstead, Daniel “Jeff” Beckstead and Rick (Trish) Beckstead. Yvonne was preceded in death by both of her parents and her late husband Joe Foley.
Yvonne was the loving and strong mother and grandmother who passed her strength and fierceness to children Roxanne Cox and Scott Fayette. Grandchildren Joshua (Ashley) Cox, Dalton (Allie) Cox, Adriana Carrol, and Halena Fayette. Great grandchildren Jesse James Jr, Camryn Chevy Ray, Daniel and Daisy Carrol and Kaivee and Kona Parker.
Additionally, Yvonne acquired two young men in their adult years as step-sons. Joe (Debbie) Foley and Stephen (Layla-Taylor) Foley. Along with them came more blessings of grandchildren. Paige and Ryan Foley and Ava Taylor-Foley.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 19th with visitation at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 am and then a luncheon at St Stephen Catholic Church in Mt Juliet, TN where Yvonne was a parishioner. A burial service a will be held at a later date in upstate New York where she can be laid to rest beside her beloved Joe. https://taylorsince1909.com
