Christopher Preston Elliott, age 66 of Dickson, TN passed away on January 24, 2025 at the Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Elliott was born on June 7, 1958 in Dickson, TN. He was the son of the late Lendric Elliott and the late Barbara Jean (Polk) Elliott Burns.
He was an entrepreneur and a carpenter by trade. He helped build many structures using his talent. He had a green thumb when it came to gardening. He was a friendly person with an unforgettable smile, he never met a stranger. He had a passion for fishing, whether it was at his pond, the park or city lake.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Lemuel Elliott, Billy Wayne Elliott, and Eddie Ray Elliott; a half-brother, Johnny Elliott; a half-sister, Frances Dunn.
Mr. Elliott is survived by his children, Christy Moss, Malachi Gordon (April), Shanta Harris (Tony), and Christopher Moss (Starr); 2 brothers, Phillip Joe Elliott, and Troy Allen Elliott; 2 sisters, Loraine Moss (Jimmy), and Marilyn Ruth Washington (Willie). Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 until the time of service. https://taylorsince1909.com
