“Dot” Elizabeth Wilson, age 78 of Pegram, TN passed away on February 15, 2025.
Mrs. Wilson was born on October 21, 1946 in Nashville, TN.
She was the daughter of the late Robert and Iva Carlene Hargrove Ellis. She worked in the cosmetology industry as both an educator and a stylist in her own salon. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pegram, where she taught Sunday school classes and worked in the nursery for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eugene Wilson; and 2 sisters, Bobbie Sue Ellis, and Ovalene Upchurch.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughter, Dawn Wilson Pate; her sister, Vivian P. Ellis Johnson; grandson, Dustin Pate and his children, Madyson and Ace; grandson, Damian Pate; granddaughter, Dana Pate and her children, Dawson and Dayonna; great-great-granddaughter, Olivia.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, TN with great nephews, Drew and Ethan Sanders officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life and Faith held at 2:00 PM on March 1, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Pegram, TN.
