Dwayne Anthony Dufrene, 57, a native of Raceland, Louisiana and resident of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
Mr. Dufrene is survived by his wife, Mary R. Dufrene; step-son, Glenn P. Autry II; step-daughter, Eden M. Autry; father, Fred A. Dufrene Sr.; brothers, Dale A Dufrene and Michael A. Dufrene; grandchildren, Christopher A. Autry, Emma A. Young, Emalie M. Young, Jerry Young IV and Evangeline M. Autry; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Melisa R. Besson (Edward Besson Jr.) and Mona Robichaux; and brother-in-law, Roland Blanchard (Jamie P. Blanchard Jr.).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith H. Dufrene; mother-in-law, Narion M. Brunet; father-in-law, Michael C. Robichaux; brothers, Fred A. Dufrene Jr. and Martin A. Dufrene; brothers-in-law, Manuel “Manny” Robichaux and Myron P. Robichaux; and nephew, Derick Dufrene.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Samart Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
