It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joshua Randle Lugg, who left us on November 26, 2024, at the age of 19. Born on November 21, 2005, Joshua was a vibrant soul who brought joy to all who knew him.
He embodied the spirit of a good ole country boy. His love for the outdoors was evident in everything he did. He thrived in the wide-open spaces of farming, where he spent countless hours with International Harvester tractors and trucks, enjoying the earthy aroma of freshly tilled soil and the exhilarating freedom of the countryside. Those serene moments spent fishing, casting his line into tranquil waters, were some of Joshua’s happiest times—reflective pauses amidst the busyness of life.
At school, Joshua found camaraderie and purpose within the Future Farmers of America (FFA), where he dedicated himself to learning and growing alongside his peers. His infectious laughter and sense of humor made every meeting memorable; a true jokester at heart, he could easily light up a room and bring smiles to his friends and family alike. But beneath that playful exterior lay a heart of gold. Joshua was known not just for his fun-loving spirit but also for his kindness and generosity. He cherished his family dearly and was always there to lend a helping hand or share a word of encouragement.
For those who had the privilege of knowing Joshua, it is impossible to forget his warmth, his laughter, and the light he brought into our lives. As we gather to remember him, let us hold onto the cherished memories of a young man who lived life with passion and love, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.
May Joshua Randle Lugg rest peacefully, forever remembered in the loving embrace of family and friends who will carry his spirit with them always.
