Ken Louis Hollinsworth, age 54 of Charlotte, passed from this life on January 11, 2026, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. He was born in Dickson on May 8, 1971, to Margaret Jones Hollinsworth and the late Joe Louis Hollinsworth.
Ken worked as a machine operator for Tennsco for some time. He was also a member of the Chestnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother: Margaret Hollinsworth of Charlotte; his sisters: Kristy Hollinsworth and Jennifer Hollinsworth, both of Charlotte; his aunts: Frances Hollinsworth of Indiana, Mona Corlew and Fannie Edmondson, both of Charlotte, and Ann Jones of Dickson; his uncles: Mitchell Grimes of Mississippi, and John Henry Jones of Cunningham; as well as many cousins.
Ken was preceded in death by his father: Joe Louis Hollinsworth.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. https://taylorsince1909.com
