Larry Neal Street, age 85 of Dickson, passed from this life on December 30, 2024, in his home.
He was born on September 12, 1939, in Dickson, TN, to the late Slayton Raymond Street and the late Jewel Christine Yates.
He was a devoted member of the Dickson Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and was responsible for maintenance and sound equipment.
Mr. Street was married for over 63 years to his loving wife: Loretta “Kay” English Street. He had a servant’s heart in everything he did. He retired as a Road Maintenance Supervisor from the federal government in the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He later worked at the Tennessee State Capitol delivering mail to legislators.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother: William Wayne Street.
Survivors include his wife: Loretta “Kay” Street of Dickson; his daughter: Debbie Street Fountain (Paul-Andre) of San Diego, CA; his sons: David Street (Cindi) of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Allen Street (Sherry) of Dickson; his sister: Linda Wright of Rochester Hills, MI; his grandchildren: Jessica Reyes (Brandon) of Thompson Station, Michael Street of Stuart, FL, Anthony Reese (Tasha) of Janesville, WI, Allen-Michael Street (Mallory) of Dickson, Shelby Street of Dickson, and Shyann Street of Statesville, NC; and his great-grandchildren: Madison, Mia, and Sarah-Jane.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 12 noon at the Dickson Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Rob Truitt officiating. Visitation with the family will take place on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, also at the church. https://taylorsince1909.com
