Linda M. Oakley, age 79 of White Bluff, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Linda was born on October 17, 1945, in Dickson, TN. She was a daughter of the late Pitts and Mildred Yates Cannon.
She worked for over 30 years as the receptionist for the dental office of Dr. Jim Roundtree. Linda was an independent, resilient and caring person. She had the heart of a servant and enjoyed taking care of her family. She tried to spoil them, cooking and serving meals. If you didn’t have time to come to the table, she would bring it to you. She enjoyed cleaning and keeping her space organized. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed doing yard work. She made great memories with her grandchildren, and she had much love for her great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Oakley; her daughter, Lisa Moon; her brothers, Wayne and Richard Cannon.
Linda is survived by her granddaughters, Leigha Thomas (Cory), and Lindsey Cathey; her great-grandchildren, Raleigh, Owen, Kiera, Colt, and Collyns.
