Mrs. Linda Wilson Capps, age 70 of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Born in DeKalb County, Tennessee, Linda was the daughter of the late Buren Bolden “Pete” Wilson and the late Dorothy Mai Atnip Wilson.
She was a retired paralegal and had worked for Larry Ramsey and for Century 21. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Dickson. She passionately loved her family, and she also was an avid photographer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Monroe Wilson; and by two sisters, Judy Wilson Copeland and Sherry Wilson Cantrell.
Survivors include her husband, Jessie Tillman “J. T.” Capps of Dickson; two sons, Brian Keith Capps of Dickson, and Phillip Shane (and Mallory) Capps of Leander, TX; her daughter, Mitzi Davis of Huntsville, TX; her brother, Kirk Wilson of Dowellton, TN; her three grandchildren, Shawn Capps, Katarina Capps, and Mekenna Davis; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Linda Wilson Capps will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Betts and Michael Parker, officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. https://taylorsince1909.com
