Funeral services will be Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 12 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Jerry Lynn Burgess and Randy Hagler officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, December 22nd from 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with the expenses.
Mary Margaret Burgess, age 66 of Dickson, TN passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
Born in Detroit, MI she was the daughter of the late, Will Henry Burgess, Jr. and Joanne Ward Burgess and was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Burgess, and her special fur babies, Toby Joe, Sissy Ann, and Abby. Mary Margaret worked for SMI working with child support for the state. She was a member of St. Christopher’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sister, Martha “Martie” Work (Gary) of Dickson, TN; nephews, Billy Burgess (Mandee) of Dickson, TN, Ben Burgess (Summer) of Dickson, TN; step-nephew, Kenny Work (Shirley) of Burns, TN; step-niece, Billie Jo Work of Bon Aqua, TN; special sister, Darlene Riley of Dickson, TN; special brother, Randall Riley of Dickson, TN; 5 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews.
