Ralph Alan Deaver, age 75 of Dickson, TN passed away Monday, March 24, 2025.
Born in Russellville, KY, he was the son of the late Ralph Deaver, who passed away before he was born and by his adopted father, Jack Cutcher and his mother, Nora Lee Russell Cutcher.
Ralph graduated from High School in South Pittsburg, TN and graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science in biology, agriculture, and chemistry in 1973 and remains a member of Alpha Phi Omega.
He was the president, founder, and chief engineer at Central Sales and Service Inc. in Waverly, TN. The company specializes in the design and production of gaskets, seals, and molded parts for a multitude of industries and offers a wide range of products and services for the mass transit, freight, railroad, and locomotive sectors as well as the industrial sector.
Apart from his commitments at Central Sales Service Inc. he has been serving as the president and engineer at CSS Rail Ind since 1983. Ralph was a dog and animal lover and frequently donated to charitable causes related to animals, including his local humane society.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Janet Deaver of Dickson, TN; children, Satyra Deaver of Nashville, TN, Jonathon Deaver of Nashville, TN, Daniel Deaver of Dickson, TN; brother, Steve Deaver of Granville, TN; sisters, Patricia Wilson of Baltimore, MD, Janie Warren of Sarasota, FL, Renee Cutcher of Ardmore, TN; 2 grandchildren, Jayden Deaver, Jonah Deaver; four legged companion, Izzy; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 28th, from 4 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until time of service.
