Raymond “RJ” Earl Jenkins Jr., age 52, from McEwen, TN, passed away on March 29, 2025.
RJ was born on February 23, 1973, in Muskegon, MI to Raymond Earl Jenkins and Diane Wright Jenkins.
He had been a truck driver since he was 18 years old. He owned and operated RJ Jenkins Trucking. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his buddies, and farming. He was a man of big dreams and many projects. A favorite hobby of his was working on old cars and restoring them with his dad. RJ had a contagious smile that would light up the whole room. He loved family gatherings and had a great time at those events. RJ’s greatest love was for his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Mickey Rice.
Mr. Jenkins is survived by his parents, Raymond Earl Jenkins and Diane Wright Jenkins; his daughter, Summer Enyeart (Lakoda “Kody”); his son, Tyler Jenkins (Casey); sister, Janeen Hall (Terry); grandchildren, Kaylen Enyeart, Ryleigh Enyeart, and Oaklyn Jenkins. Also surviving are nieces, Stormie Porter, Hope Tucker, Cassie Cumbie, Traci Hall; as well as several great nieces and great nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Taylor Funeral Home, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with Rosary prayer at 7:00 p.m. https://taylorsince1909.com
