On November 24, 2025 our Father in Heaven called Ron Reed home.
He was born August 10, 1948, in Pontiac, Michigan, to the late James Clyde and Zelmer (Brumett) Reed. He was United States Marine Corp Veteran.
In addition to his parents, James Clyde and Zelmer Reed, he is preceded in death by his son, Steven Reed; brothers, Gerry, Jim and Steve Reed; and his sisters Sharon, Carol, and Vivian. He is survived by his loving wife, Leisha Reed; three children, Ronnie Reed, Christopher Gallup, and Rhianon Gallup; two nephews he helped raise Timothy (Terra) Justice and Anthony Justice. He was a proud Grandpa to Kaidence Parker, Kali Parker, and Steve Reed, and a great Grandpa to Hendrix Reed. He was a great uncle to Tristan, Teagan, and Tinsley Justice also Aiden Justice. As well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends he called family.
A Graveside service with Military Honors will be Monday, December 1, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Jackson’s Chapel Cemetery in Charlotte, TN.
