Ronnie “Bucket Head” Estes a beloved figure in the Dickson community, passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 68.

Born on March 29, 1956, in Dickson County, Ronnie lived a life marked by devotion, hard work, and love for his family and friends.

As a founding of the Burns Fire Department, Ronnie embodied the spirit of service and dedication that defines true community heroes. He dedicated countless hours to ensuring the safety and well-being of those around him, cherished deeply by those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

In addition to his passion for serving his community, Ronnie was a truck driver who found joy in the open road, a vocation he pursued with great pride. His love for truck pulling was only rivaled by his fondness for watching Westerns on TV, where he often found himself reminiscing about simpler times. Few things brought him more joy than mowing his lawn, that showed his deep appreciation for home and family.

Above all, Ronnie carried the title of “Pop Pop” with unmatched pride. He cherished every moment spent playing with his grandchildren, creating memories that will forever warm the hearts of his loved ones. His playful spirit and contagious laughter brought joy not only to his family but to everyone who had the pleasure of encountering him.

As we remember Ronnie “Bucket Head” Lynn Estess, let us carry forward his spirit of kindness, community service, and unwavering love for family. His presence will be profoundly missed, yet his memory will forever live on in our hearts.
