$150,000 Powerball Winner Sold in Antioch

ANTIOCH – Congratulations to a Powerball player in Antioch, who won $150,000 from the drawing held last night, Oct. 7, 2023.

The lucky player matched four out of five white balls plus the red Powerball to win the base prize of $50,000. And since the person added the Power Play feature for an extra dollar and the Power Play number drawn was three, the prize was tripled to $150,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Buy The Way, 220 Crossings Pl. in Antioch.

The jackpot for the popular game has grown to an astounding $1.55 billion for the next drawing on Monday, Oct. 9.

The Lottery reminds players to have fun and play responsibly. It only takes one ticket to win.

All Lottery offices will be closed Monday, Oct. 9 and will reopen Tuesday, Oct. 10.
