Camp Tanase isn’t just another overnight summer camp, it’s an immersive experience led by real Park Rangers. With activities ranging from hiking with a State Naturalist to Repelling with a Park Ranger, your child will learn what it’s like to adventure outdoors like a pro. Camp Tanase welcomes boys and girls ages 10 to 14 to Montgomery Bell State Park for a week of thrilling activities July 11th through July 17th.
Shaded by trees and nestled between lakes, Camp Tanase is a sleep-away camp for boys and girls ages 10-14 looking to experience the outdoors like a true Ranger.
We believe every camper brings incredible skills and talents with them that they have yet to discover. We strive to develop their hidden strengths through our Ranger-led activities that are sure to be remembered for summers to come.
​Camp Tanase is presented by Tennessee State Parks. Our camp is the only one of its kind – developed and led by Tennessee Park Rangers from across the beautiful state. We are all invested in providing quality outdoor experiences for our youth.
