The 8th Annual Bell Ringer Trail Run will take place on Saturday, December 11th at 7:00 am at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, TN. This race features running on one of the best trail networks in the Nashville area. This 31+ mile race gives area ultra runners a close-to-home venue for a trail ultra and will showcase the tremendous natural resources of the Tennessee State Park system for visitors. Since the start of this race in 2014, it has continued to grow each year and draw runners from all over the country.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Friends of Montgomery Bell State Park. The mission of this group is to support the park, provide a quality place for families to recreate, and educate visitors on the importance of protection and preservation of the park.
The course contains multiple uphill and downhill sections. The terrain is of moderate difficulty, providing a challenge to runners, but not too hard for first-timers. For the 50k, 25k, and 15k there will be aid stations approximately every 5-6 miles.
We anticipate reaching our maximum participants early, so don’t wait to register!
Awards are given to the top 3 male and female finishers in each race – 50k, 25k, 15k. The awards are made by the Dickson County Woodturners.
