The City of Dickson Police Department has announced the addition of Joseph Wooten to its team. Chief Seth Lyles and the department extended a warm welcome to Wooten, who brings a strong background in both emergency medical services and law enforcement.
A Dickson native, Wooten graduated from Dickson County High School in 2016. He has worked as a licensed EMT for seven years and earned his Law Enforcement Certification from Cleveland State in 2021. Wooten began his law enforcement career with the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office, serving as a patrol deputy for three years.
At the City of Dickson Police Department, Wooten will undergo the Field Training Officer program and join the A-Night shift.
The department is excited about the experience and dedication he brings to the role.
