City of Dickson Police is mourning the passing of Retired Sergeant John Farmer.
Sgt. Farmer worked for the City of Dickson Police Department for 23 years. He held the position of Sergeant in the Criminal Investigations Division and was a tenacious Detective.
“He brought his ‘A Game’ to work with him every day. John was known for his wisdom in working automobile theft and firearms cases. The man knew every piece to every firearm. John was not only a devoted Law Enforcement Officer, but he was also a friend to all that worked with him,” Dickson Police said.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday September 25, 2024, at 1 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in McEwen, TN. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery.
