From August 1 to August 23, there will be free breakfast and lunch for Dickson County students this year.
The beginning of the school year is always hectic and this small break in meal costs could help all families get the year started a little easier. Whether you think you qualify for the federal free/reduced lunch, please fill out the application (currently available on https://linqconnect.com/main ).
If you qualified last year you still need to qualify again this year, as last year’s application is no longer valid. Not only does the data sent determine the ability to pay, but it also helps allocate funds to your school/district from the state.
Paper copies will be made available, but the easiest, fastest way to complete the application is online through your students meal account.
