Dickson County Fire Rescue responded to a fire involving a CSX train on Highway 47 East near the intersection of Cathey Hollow Road at approximately 10:08 AM.
Units on the scene as well as the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office and representatives from CSX worked worked quickly to contain the fire and address potential hazards.
Authorities have not yet released further details about the cause of the fire or whether there were any injuries. The incident is under investigation.
Drivers in the area are advised to remain cautious and follow any traffic instructions from law enforcement.
