
Chief Seth Lyles and the City of Dickson Police Department are recognizing several officers for recent promotions within the patrol division.
Aidan Hollis has been promoted to Patrol Corporal. A 2014 graduate of Dickson County High School, Hollis worked four years with the Tennessee Department of Corrections before joining the Dickson Police Department in 2019. He later attended the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy. During his time with the department, he has served on night shift, in the Traffic Division, and on the B-Days rotation. He has also worked as a bicycle officer, Field Training Officer, Special Response Team member, and SRT sniper. In 2025, he completed his Crash Reconstruction certification. In his new role, Hollis will serve as second-in-command of the B-Days rotation.
Lindsey Javins has been promoted to Sergeant. Originally from Alabama, Javins played collegiate softball while earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama. She began her law enforcement career in 2017 with the Fairview Police Department before joining Dickson Police in 2021. She has served as a Field Training Officer and Corporal, primarily on the B Nights rotation, and is a member of the Dickson Critical Incident Negotiator Team. Javins has received several recognitions, including B Nights Officer of the Shift in 2022 and 2023, and Officer of the Year in 2024. She will continue serving the department and community in her new leadership role.
B.J. Walls has been promoted to Patrol Sergeant. Walls began his career with the Tennessee Department of Correction in 2013 and joined the Dickson Police Department in 2017. He has served as a Patrol Officer, School Resource Officer, Master Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, and Patrol Corporal. Walls holds certifications in Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement, Instructor Development, School Resource Officer training, At Scene Crash Investigation, Criminal Investigation, Drug and Criminal Interdiction, First Line Supervision, Search Warrants, and ALERRT. He currently leads the A Nights Patrol Shift.
Jeffery Scott Clark has been promoted to Patrol Corporal. A 2016 graduate of Dickson County High School, Clark worked in construction while earning his associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Nashville State Community College. He joined the Dickson Police Department in 2021 and attended the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy that same year. Clark has served as a Patrol Officer and Field Training Officer on the A-Nights shift and now serves as second-in-command of that shift.
