December 5, 2024 – Dickson police are investigating a smash-and-grab break-in at a Pomona pawn shop.

Det. Katrena Pulley of the Dickson Police Department Criminal Investigations Division reports a vehicle was used to smash through the front doors of Golden Eagle Pawn, 1836 Highway 46 at the corner with Pomona Road around 12:30 am Thursday, Dec. 5.

Security video shows two vehicles entering the parking lot before one of them crashed through the doors. Pulley says four individuals entered through the doors, smashed the glass of several display cases and stole a “significant amount” of property. Based on the video, the suspects were in the store approximately one minute before leaving the scene in the other vehicle and heading south on Highway 46 toward Interstate 40.

As of Thursday morning, investigators were still on the scene as the pawn shop conducted an inventory to determine the stolen property.

Det. Pulley asks that anyone who was in the Pomona area around the time of the burglary and saw anything suspicious or has any related information to contact her at 615-441-9573 or the Dickson Police Department tipline at 615-441-9555.

Due to it being an ongoing investigation, Det. Pulley said no other information will be released at this time.
