The Dickson Police Department will be hosting a Basic Citizen’s Police Academy, starting March 12th, 2026.
The purpose of the Citizens Police Academy is to give citizen participates an understanding of the department’s mission, practices, and operations. Some of the classes will be hands on.
To be eligible, you must:
Live, work, or volunteer in the City of Dickson
18 years of age or older
Be able to commit to attending 8 classes
pass a background check
