A Dickson County deputy was shot in the line of duty in March and now The Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Tennessee Police Benevolent Association and the Police Benevolent Foundation are asking for financial support.

Deputy Nolan Mamori was shot three times after he was called to conduct a welfare check on March 24, 2023, a situation which ultimately turned into a hostage situation. One of the rifle rounds remains in Mamori’s arm.

As he recovers at home and receives additional medical care while on leave, financial assistance is needed to support him, his wife and six children during this difficult time.

Deputy Nolan Mamori has served as a deputy with the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office for four years. He also served nine years with the United States Army and completed three tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.
