Free Women’s Self-Defense Class Offered in Dickson County

The Dickson County Sheriff’s Department is hosting a free Women’s Self-Defense class on November 23rd from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dickson County High School Wrestling Room. This event is open to women of all ages and skill levels who are interested in learning practical, easy-to-apply self-defense techniques.

Participants will be introduced to simple but effective methods designed to increase personal safety and build confidence in potentially dangerous situations. The class will also focus on awareness skills, helping women recognize and avoid scenarios where they might become a target.
