Anthony Wayne Newberry, Sr. of Dickson, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022, he was 59 years old.
Mr. Newberry was born December 16, 1962 in Dickson, TN. He was a son of the late Charles Newberry and Alice Tidwell Newberry.
He served his Country in the Tennessee National Guard. He worked as a building and grounds maintenance supervisor at Tennessee interstate rest areas. He had also worked for TriStar Horizon Medical Center.
Anthony enjoyed fishing; his second home was being lakeside with a fishing pole. He loved his sons and his grandchildren, he loved spending time with them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Newberry, Jr.; his brothers, Bobo and Randall “Chunk” Newberry.
Mr. Newberry is survived by his son, Eric Newberry (and Victoria Kolopajlo); his grandchildren, Emily, Alice, Rylen, Braiden; his brothers, Phil, and Charles “Snooker” Newberry, Jr.; his sisters, Margie Elkins, Rita Kelly, and Brenda Sullivan.
Also surviving is his long-time companion, Tina Gomez, her two grandchildren, Brayden, and Hayley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
