Barbara Ruth Trotter Young, age 83 of Dickson, Tennessee passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, June 8, 2023.
She was born May 15, 1940, in Cunningham, Tennessee.
She is survived by her two sons Bob Young and Bryan M. Young, sister Judy Newberry and brother David Trotter.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Robert William Young, Jr., her father, William Garner Trotter, mother, Mary Eliza Bumpas Trotter, sisters Bettye Griffin and Linda Newberry, and brother Dicky Trotter.
Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 20 at Spann Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Young will be conducted at 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 20 in the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home. https://www.spannfuneralhome.com
