Charles Martin Bone-Monroe, affectionately known as Chuck, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was born in Dickson, TN to Rhoda Reece Monroe and Charles Martin Monroe. Chuck was an avid antique collector, but above all he was a beloved husband and father.
Left to cherish Chuck’s memory is his husband of 25 years, Mack Bone-Monroe of Franklin, TN; son, Connor Bone-Monroe of Franklin, TN; mother, Rhoda Monroe of Waverly, TN; sisters, Rhonda Owens (Keith) of Mississippi, Renessa Hollingsworth (David) of McEwen, TN, and Ralanda Steedly (Chris) of Paris, TN; brother, Chad Monroe of Waverly, TN; nieces, Tiffany Owens-Jones (Ross), Whitney Bryant (Cal), Chelsea Brazil (Chandler), all of Mississippi, and Kayden Hooper (J.J.) of New Johnsonville, TN; nephew, Charles Bo Pruitt of Nashville, TN; and multiple great nieces and nephews.
Chuck is preceded in death by his father, Charles Monroe.
A visitation for Chuck will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly beginning at 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
