David Ray Holman, age 70 of Dickson, TN passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
David was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. A man with many interests and hobbies, he especially loved music, concerts and going to Bonnaroo. David was well known for his infectious laughter and was always the funniest in the room. He was a gentle man who encouraged everyone around him and was strong at achieving his own goals. David’s intelligence and charisma warmed everyone’s hearts.
He graduated from Dickson High School, class of 1972. David attended Nashville State Tech and graduated with honors with an Associates in Program Engineering in 2001. He then continued his career working for HCA for 22 years. He recently retired in the summer of 2024.
Survivors include his wife: Susan Berryman Holman of Dickson; his children: David Andrew Holman (Erin) of Colorado Springs, CO, Amy Holman Turner (Chad) of Dickson, and Amanda Raye Holman of Nashville; his sisters: Ellen Kathleen Carson (Don) of Jacksonville, FL; 2 grandchildren: Ethan Holman and Mackenzie Grace Holman; and a nephew: Kevin Holman.
David was preceded in death by his parents: Howard Ray Holman and Sue Ellen Lamb Holman; and his brother: Chris Holman.
A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday May 17, 2025 at 3:30 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Saturday May 17th from 3:00 P.M. until time of service. https://taylorsince1909.com
