Deloris Luffman, age 88, passed away on July 9, 2026, at Tristar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. She was born on April 31, 1938 in Dickson County, TN to Alvie Codgill and Lucille Berryman Cogdill. Deloris worked for the US postal service as a mail carrier.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Nora Carroll (James), Counce, TN, Grandchildren, Dustan Carroll and Charles Kyle Carroll, Great Grandchildren, Drake Harris (Jaycee) and Great-Great Grandchildren Hattley and Hassley.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alvie and Lucille Cogdill, and brothers, Elzie and Gerald Cogdill.
Visitation for Deloris will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Lighthouse Ministries in McEwen, beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the service time at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be held following the service at McEwen Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Pastor Bobby Eddings will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to the Lighthouse Ministries at 31 Indian Creek Road, McEwen, TN.
