Mr. Donald Kenneth Vaughn, age 79 of Dickson, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
Donald was born on July 2, 1944 in Cumberland City, TN. He was a son of the late William and Sally Esther Harris Vaughn.
He was a longtime employee of the Chappell’s grocery stores, and later worked for Tennsco. Donald enjoyed watching Kentucky Wildcats basketball games and was also a fan of the Atlanta Braves. Most of all he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Pamela Gail Vaughn.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his sons: Lance Vaughn (Sarah) of White Bluff, Jason Lee (Marie), Donnie Vaughn (Arin), and Warren Vaughn (Amy), all of Dickson; his daughters: Deanna Wood (David) of Camden, and Missy Needham (John) of McEwen; his brother, Bobby Vaughn; his sisters, Meredith “Nita” Massey, and Juanita Shepherd; grandchildren: Christopher Lee, Anabel Lee, Abbie Vaughn, Hudson Vaughn, Erica Davis, Brooke Heath, Michael Crowe, Brittany Threat, Kaci Wood, Christy Howard, Carrie Hayes, Katie Dunn, Cooper Vaughn, Roni Walton, Will Needham, Beth Morin, Miranda England, and Hayden Vaughn.
Also surviving are several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as his pet dogs, Tobie and Georgie.
