Donald Lee McAdams, age 65, of Dickson, TN, unexpectedly passed away on December 3, 2023.
Don was born in Alameda, California, on August 27, 1958 to the late Walter Bernard McAdams and Leona Myatt McAdams.
Don worked as a construction superintendent for R.G. Anderson Company for over 30 years. He was a dedicated and skilled carpenter. He loved spending time outdoors, riding side by sides, and kayaking. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and enjoyed going to the races at Talladega and Bristol for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister; Linda Ahern and brother-in-law; James “Al” Cox.
He is survived by his long-time life partner; Melody Sullivan of Waverly, TN, step-son; Joshua “Toby” Sullivan (Shaina) of Dickson, TN, brothers; Tim McAdams (Darlene) of Dickson, TN, Gary Dean McAdams of Dickson, TN, sisters; Debra Leavell (Robert) of Burns, TN, Sandy Brock of Dickson, TN, grandchildren; Jones Sullivan of Dickson, TN, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of close friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service. His desire was to be cremated and a private burial will take place at a later date. https://taylorsince1909.com
