OBITUARY: Dorothy Sensing Edwards

Dorothy Sensing Edwards (Age 94) of Dickson, Tennessee passed away Tuesday July 1, 2025, at her home in Dickson.

Visitation: will be 4-8 Saturday and 12 – 3 Sunday at the Spann Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Mrs. Dorothy Sensing Edwards will be conducted at 3 pm Sunday July 6, 2025, from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Clark Brown and Bro. Ken Brown officiating.

Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

• Son: Ray Edwards (Gretchen) of Charlotte, TN;
• Daughter: Kathy Canaday (Francis) of Dickson, TN;
• 4 Brothers: William Sensing of Dickson, TN; Thomas Sensing of Lenior City, TN; Joel Sensing of Nashville, TN; Wayne Sensing of Dickson, TN;
• 2 Sisters: Christine Nicks of Charlotte, TN; Linda Cantrell of Nashville, TN;
• 5 Grandchildren: Jody, Jeremy, Jamie, Becky, and Kyle;
• 9 Great Grandchildren: Anna, Max, Kiera, Talia, Lena, Micah, Rhorie, Liam and Evan.

Preceded in death by:

• Husband: Hue Edwards;
• Parents: Warren & Irene Garrett Sensing;
• Daughter: Robin Byrum;
• Brothers: Wallace, Harold and Danny Sensing;
