Doyle Sterling Wall, age 76 of Vanleer, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at his home in Vanleer surrounded by his family.
Doyle was born August 27, 1946, to Sterling and Lucille Fiser Wall.
He was a member of the Oak Avenue Church of Christ and lived for his 30-year career in Law enforcement. He worked for 11 years at the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office. He was the Sheriff of Dickson County for 6 years and then worked for 19 Years at the Dickson Police Department where he retired.
He was the former owner of Wall’s Bar-B-Que in Charlotte, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, The Sheriff’s Association and Honorary member of the Charlotte Lions Club.
Visitation will be 10 – 8 pm Wednesday and 10 – 2 on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the Spann Funeral Home. Funeral Service Doyle Wall will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday, May 4, 2023, from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Stevens and Bro. Mike Richardson officiating.
