Edna Patricia “Pat” Butts, age 80, of Dickson, Tennessee Went to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
Mrs. Butts worked in the school system in Tupelo, MS teaching elementary school for 27 years during which time she earned her Bachelors and Masters of Education degrees from the University of Mississippi.
She loved the Lord and her family first and foremost. She was married to her husband, Rev. Clovis Butts for 53 years and served in her role as a pastor’s wife with grace and humility.
In her later years, Mrs. Butts and her husband moved to Dickson, TN to be closer to family. They attended First Baptist Church – Dickson. Mrs. Butts was active in the church and the Dickson Senior Citizens Center for many years. She was loved by her family and many friends in the church and community.
Visitation will be from 11:30 – 1:30 pm Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Spann Funeral Home. Memorial Service for Mrs. Pat Butts will be 1:30 pm Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Miller officiating. https://www.spannfuneralhome.com
