Emilie “Yvonne” Quillin, age 72 of White Bluff, passed from this life on March 15, 2025, at Centennial Medical Center of Nashville.

She was born on January 24, 1953, in Dickson, to the late William Clyde Brown and Lela Mae Lewis Brown.

Yvonne worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant at Horizon Medical Center of Dickson. She was a member of the White Bluff Church of Christ.

Yvonne (affectionately known as Granna) was a loving and devoted wife to James for 15 years. She was the biggest fan and supporter of her daughters on the field and court but mostly in life. She continued to share that love and support for her grandkids as well. Her sense of humor and laugh were unmatched and she showed both until the very end. She was an avid music lover. She loved listening to her husband, James, play and sing for her (although Elvis, Davy Jones, and Jim Morrison were her first music loves). Yvonne was classy, yet simple. She was full of grace and loved her family above all else.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Edsel Brown, Lawrence Brown, Bertha Mae Parrish, and Ruby Wolven.

Survivors include her husband: James H. Quillin of White Bluff; her daughters: Laura Beth Duke (Justin) and Leah Brooke Ford, both of White Bluff; her son: Trent Quillin (Amy) of Lebanon; her brother: Farris Brown (Betty Sue) of Panama City, FL; her sisters: Barbara Sue Marlin (Ernie) of White Bluff and Darlene Lowe of Charlotte; and her grandchildren: Alyssa Brooke Jones, Ansley Grace Quillin, and Brody James Quillin.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Couch officiating. Visitation with the family will take place on Thursday, March 20, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
