Freida-Charlean-Sanders

Freida Charlean Sanders, age 69, of Dickson, TN, passed away peacefully at NHC on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.

Freida was the daughter of the late Laverne E. Largent Spears of Dickson, TN and William E. Adams of Detroit, Michigan.

Freida was a woman of many talents. She was an employee of RedKap/VF Workwear of Dickson for over 15 years. Freida also had her Cosmetology License for several years. She has driven an 18-wheeler cross country for several years and was the first female mechanic hired by State Industries in Ashland City.

Her life was never boring. She loved live music, being one of the best roadies ever, stated by her brother-in-law, Donald E. Harris. She followed his band wherever he was playing music. She loved the outdoors, her dogs, and hanging out with her brothers and sisters, and on occasion could be quite a prankster. Even under tough circumstances, Freida always mustered a beautiful smile and would say, “I love You.”

Being one of 14 siblings, Freida knew the true meaning of sharing. Along with her parents, Freida is preceded in death by her husband; Ray Sanders, her sisters; Beverly Kay Adams and Janice Kay Adams, her brothers; Emory Lovic Adams, Joe Carl Adams, Timothy Robert Adams, Ricky Earl Adams and Jimmy Ray Lind.

Freida was blessed by a very large family. Survivors include her son; James Ray Tuberville of Charlotte, sisters; Kathleen Harris (Steve Cordell) of Dickson, Billie Simons of Dickson, Juanita Dubach (Darren) of Texas, brothers; Stephen Dennis Adams (Paige) of Dickson, John Lind of TN City, Jeffrey Adams (Vickie) of Dickson, many nephews and nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces.

Her wishes were to be cremated and her ashes rejoined with her family at the Tennessee City Cemetery at a date to be determined. https://taylorsince1909.com
