Helen Heggie, age 79 of Dickson, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024.
She was born on May 27, 1944. She was one of twelve children of Hillman and Maggie Tanner Heggie. Helen was known as “Baby” by her caregivers, staff, and friends. “Baby” enjoyed listening to music, and she enjoyed the hymns sung by visiting church friends. She would always try to sing along in her own way.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Boss, Glen and Boyd Heggie; and her sisters, Allene, Ora, Edith, Ruby, Gusty, Eunice and Alma.
Helen is survived by her sister, Marian Wheat; several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Miller officiating. Her place of rest will be in the Waynick Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. https://taylorsince1909.com
