James Elbert “Hammer” Dugan, age 81 of White Bluff, TN passed away on February 3, 2025 at Horizon Medical Center.
Mr. Dugan was born on July 11, 1943 in White Bluff, TN. He was the youngest of five children of the late Benjamin Dugan and the late Sally Katherine Mash Dugan.
He was a hard worker and a “jack of all trades”. Over the years he had worked as a mechanic, a police officer, a roofer and also as a mason laying block. He was “old school” and could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing and being a collector of many things.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Keith Dugan; sister, Margaret Deal; 2 brothers, O.B. Dugan and Willard Dugan.
James “Hammer” Dugan is survived by his wife, Martha Edwards Dugan; his children, Kimberly Hollis, and Kevin Dugan (Sharon); a brother, Carl Dugan; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Moize officiating. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. https://taylorsince1909.com
