James Robert “Jimmy” Neblett, III, age 44, of Cumberland Furnace, passed from this life on August 19, 2022, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.
He was born on November 13, 1977, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late James Robert Neblett, Jr. and the late Linda Shiflett Carroll.
After high school, Jimmy went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. He was a machine operator at A.O. Smith for several years.
In addition to his biological parents, he was preceded in death by his adopted parents: James Robert, Sr. and Barbara Ilena Christy Neblett.
Survivors include his loving wife: Tommie Neblett; his children: Christopher, Jessie, Cheyenne, Alexis, and Elizabeth; his brother: Phillip Neblett, of Jonesboro, AR; his sisters: Lori Hoffy (Michael), of McEwen, TN, and Carrie Ann Dennis (Michael) of Dundalk, MD; mother-in-law: Mary Reynolds of Dickson; brothers-in-law: Theodore Reynolds and Bobby Baggett; sister-in-law: Sabrina Baggett (Joe); nieces: Zoe, Cynthia, and Anna; and nephews: Payton, Caleb, Willard, Dallas, Harley, Dillon.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. A burial with military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, August 24, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home. http://taylorsince1909.com
