Jesse Willard Edwards, age 68, of Dickson, TN, passed away on May 14, 2025.
Jesse was born in Nashville, TN on April 30, 1957, to the late Buford Erskin Edwards and Dorothy Lorene Watts Edwards.
Jesse was a good husband to his wife, Carol, for over 33 years. He loved the outdoors, loved to fish and ride his motorcycle. He especially loved to ride his horses. He rode on several trail rides, including the Ozarks. He loved to dance and have fun times.
Jesse worked many years at Riverview Golf Course in Wisconsin. When he moved back home to Dickson County, he helped build Greystone Golf Course in Dickson and then continued as grounds keeper. Jesse also loved to paint yard ornaments later as a hobby. Jesse had an appreciative and humble attitude all through his battle with cancer and never lost his sense of humor, which he is still very well known for.
Jesse loved life and always had a big smile. He loved and enjoyed his many nephews and nieces, and they loved their uncle Jesse and will miss him as well as his brothers and sisters. Jesse loved Jesus and was ready to go home to his Heavenly Father.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Mark Edwards and Gregory Scott Edwards.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Wenner Edwards of Dickson, TN, his step-children, Debbie (Brian) Mueller of Watertown, WI, James Schriver, of Watertown, WI, his brothers, Buford (Pam) Edwards of Charlotte, TN, Clifford Edwards of Murfreesboro, TN, Johnny (Zola) Edwards of Knoxville, TN, Robert (Debbie) Edwards of Dickson, TN, his sisters, Carolyn (Johnny) Stanford of Charlotte, TN, Janice (Jim) Longo and Rome, NY, Mary Chris Potter (Phillip) of Vanleer, TN, Jane (Jason) Cunningham of Charlotte, TN, and many nieces and nephews.
His wishes were to be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. https://taylorsince1909.com
