Joan Barbara Butler, 86 years of age, of White Bluff, TN, passed away January 31, 2025, at the Meadows in Nashville, TN.
She was born June 19, 1938, in Long Branch, New Jersey, to the late Ivins and Verna (Prentiss) Tiffany.
Joan loved children. She enjoyed board games with her grandchildren. She worked and retired from White Bluff Elementary School, as a teachers aide who worked with children with special needs. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Butler; son, David Butler; grandson, Steven Lawroski; and brother, Charles Tiffany. Those left to cherish her memory, are her daughters, Sharon Waszkiewicz, Laurie (Joseph) Lawroski, Darla Butler, and Lisa Butler; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; and will resume on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Williams Cemetery in White Bluff, TN.
