Family and friends will assemble at the graveside at Edwards Cemetery on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. for graveside funeral services. There will be no formal visitation prior to service. Place of rest in the Edwards Cemetery.
Joseph Harlan “Big” Joe” Sanders, age 31, of Dickson, TN died suddenly Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Tri-Star Horizon Medical Center.
He was born in Davidson County, son of Vanessa Maye (Jo) Owens and the late Kenneth Doyle Sanders.
Big Joe worked in fast food business and in construction. He loved knife collecting and shooting his guns. Big Joe had a love of genealogy and all kinds of history. He loved his family and always upon ending a conversation by saying “Love You, Bye”
Survivors include his mother, Jo Owens of Dickson, TN, his brother, Jesse Sanders of Charlotte, TN, his sister, Racheal (Joe) Dearborn of Dickson, TN, his longtime girlfriend, Ali Faciana, his grandparents, Mai and Dana Owens of Dickson, TN, several cousins including, Becca (Josh) Johnson of Dickson, TN his three nephews and one niece, Brysen Dearborn, Brenen Dearborn, Jacob Sanders, and Elizabeth Sanders.
