Joyce Kathryn Brock, age 85, of Dickson, passed from this life on June 16, 2024, at AHC Waverly.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 3, 1938, to the late Harold Hillaker and Lucille Margaret Fox.
In her earlier years, she was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Dickson and more recently a member of the Victory Fellowship Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children: Ricky Pickens and Dewayne Lamirand; and her brothers: Thomas Newman, Mike Patterson, and Harl Clark.
Survivors include her children: Robby Pickens (Donna), Randy Pickens (Rhonda), Marvin “Chip” Lamirand (Shanna), Helen Murphy (Murph), Linda Caban (Rubun), Kathy Tremblay (Gaetan), Lillie Swaw (Mike), and Diane Melton; her grandchildren: Julie, Justin, Jason, Becky, Nathan, Abigail, Matthew, Elizabeth, Matthew, Mitchell, Marisa, Shane, Cheryl, Daniel, and Stephen; as well as 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. John Johnson officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, June 21, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
