The long goodbye has come to an end. Judy Mae Baukin passed away peacefully after a battle with Dementia, with family at her side Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

Judy Mae Baukin was born September 10, 1939, in Madison, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Garwood A. Mather and Lovina M. Austin Mather.

Judy raised 5 children as a single mother and worked many years as a bartender in Dane, WI. She moved to Madison, WI and worked many years as a caregiver at Marc East.

She met her husband, John Baukin and moved to Florida where she continued working as a caregiver in a group home. She loved her job and all the clients she cared for.

Judy retired and made the move to Tennessee where she loved spending time with her family and looked forward to and loved her Sister Road Trips.

She absolutely enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Dickson Senior Center. She was well known for her “sassy pants” and her love for Elvis.

Judy Is proceeded in death by her parents, Garwood and Lovina Mather; her husband, Earl Nathaniel Varese, and her husband, John Baukin; sister, Jean Frank; nephew, Lance Frank; brother-in-law, Steve Cramer; and son-in-law, Donronnell Hunter.

Judy is survived by her children, Rick Varese, Tina (Rick) Padley, Teresa Varese, Randy (Marylee Ubick) Varese and Rob Varese; her sister, Jeri Cramer; nephew, Jason (Tiffany) Cramer; niece, Carlye (Mike Ossman) Frank; brother-in-law, Gary Frank; Grandchildren Nalanie Varese, Amanda Padley (AJ), Sara Padley, Valentino Varese, Tonya (Adam) Klapperich, Lovina Varese, Nevada Varese. Also surviving are twenty-two great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and her dog, Sadie Mae.

Her wishes were to be cremated and placed next to her loving parents at the Roselawn Gardens in Monona, Wisconsin.
