Linda Gail Overton, age 71 of Dickson, TN passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021.
Her wishes were to be cremated. The family will have visitation only on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 4 to 8 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.
Born in Dickson, TN she was the daughter of the late Eddie Barr and Wilma Lee Nicks Donaldson. Linda worked for the Dickson County Board of Education. She started as a Teacher’s Aide in the Title 1 program and worked with the school daycare. She later worked at Dickson Middle School in the special education department. After retiring from the school system she worked as a Realtor for a few years. Linda loved traveling and going to UT football games and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Walnut St. Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry Overton of Dickson, TN, sons, Brad Overton of Dickson, TN, Dan Overton (Autumn) of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Edwin Donaldson (Cindy) of Dickson, TN; sister, Sherry Lashlee (Kevin) of Dickson, TN; 4 grandchildren, Seth Overton, Ethan Overton, Eden Overton, Mason Overton.
