Linda Joyce Odom Wilkerson, age 74, of Dickson, TN passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.

She was born in Dickson County and was the daughter of the late Alex Andrew Odom, Jr. and Ellendar Louise Stringer Odom.

She was educated in the Dickson County school system and was a graduate of Dickson County High School.

Work was always a major part of Linda’s life. Being a hard worker and a dedicated worker, she was currently working with Home Depot in Bellevue as a pro cashier. She formally sold insurance with American General Life Insurance Company and was a former bookkeeper.

Linda loved gospel music and loved attending Gospel concerts. She loved her family and her friends and was always expressing her love to them; especially her children and grandchildren. Linda loved life and all that it had to offer her. She was quick-witted and could be a little bit stubborn. It was once said in her earlier years that she had a “million dollar” set of legs. Linda took great pride in her looks. She could simply dominate a room with her looks, even not meaning to. In the last days, she was most appreciative to those around her caring for her.

Linda is survived by her two children; Dwayne Wilkerson and his wife Regina of Dickson, TN and Lisa Wilkerson Christian and her husband Todd of Dickson, TN, her grandchildren; Brannon Wilkerson and his wife Alicia, Ashley Wilkerson, Ella Grace Christian and Lily Claire Christian, her great-grandchildren; Keeton Wilkerson, Kayson Wilkerson and Kipton Wilkerson, her sister; Geneva “Debbie” Fortner of Dickson, TN. Several nieces and nephews including a special niece and caregiver Melinda Lane.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Odom Baker.
